The sec­tion of the air­ship that was in­hab­ited by pas­sen­gers and crew was re­ferred as ‘the gon­dola’ and boasted two decks known as A and B. The up­per A-deck was sig­nif­i­cantly more spa­cious and where pas­sen­gers spent most of their time while B-deck con­tained the ship’s kitchen, the crew’s mess and toi­let fa­cil­i­ties.
