6. Turkish War of Independence 1919-1921

Following the defeat of the Ottoman Empire in WWI Turkish nationalists rose up, fighting for territory against Greece, Armenia and France as well as some involvement by Britain and Italy. The conflict resulted in the overthrow of the Ottoman Sultanate and an independent Republic of Turkey under Atatürk.
