A humble beginning

Abram Games’ first military poster was this Royal Armoured Corps recruitment notice. Games had been picked up by the War Office after their clerk who did posters had been transferred to another department. He managed to retrieve his art materials from his bombed out and looted home, as they hadn’t been stolen.
