THE OSSUARY

This pyramid is built in the

Puuc architectural style, like the majority of the buildings located in the south of Chichen Itza. Inside, there is a cave where archaeologists have uncovered graves that contained offerings of jade, shell, rock crystal and copper. For this reason, the Ossuary is often referred to as The High Priest’s Tomb.
