MILITARY DEMARCATION LINE
The Military Demarcation Line (MDL), running through the centre of the DMZ, is the border which separates North and South Korean territory. The line extends across the country and even into the sea, where the often-disputed Northern Limit Line maritime border separates the two countries’ waters.
