UNDERGROUND PALACE

Discovered in 2012, this ancient palace is nearly 700 metres long and 250 metres wide. Experts describe it as something of a predecessor to the Forbidden City. Walls, gates, stone roads and pieces of broken pottery have all been found within the ruins, along with 18 courtyard-style houses and one main building.
