HENRY JENNINGS

Jennings’ raid on a wrecked Spanish treasure fleet helped to finance the pirate haven of Nassau when he joined up with Hornigold and his crews. Despite the bitter rivalry between the two captains, they managed to operate together as the ‘Flying Gang’ for a time. Like Hornigold, he accepted the royal pardon in 1718 and retired to Bermuda.
