Saturn's wind mystery solved?

Saturn's winds can reach breath­tak­ing speeds of up to 1,770 kilo­me­tres (1,100 miles) per hour, but sci­en­tists now reckon they have a good idea how they take shape. A 43-inch-wide ro­tat­ing pot hold­ing sev­eral hun­dred litres of wa­ter was heated from be­low, caus­ing the warmed-up wa­ter to rise. Sur­face wa­ter, mean­while, was cooled by evap­o­ra­tion and sank.
