At the start of our ob­serv­ing pe­riod Venus will tech­ni­cally be an evening ob­ject, but in re­al­ity it will be too close to the Sun to be vis­i­ble. As Oc­to­ber passes Venus will edge closer and closer to the Sun. By the end of our ob­serv­ing pe­riod Venus will have emerged from the Sun’s glare and will be vis­i­ble be­fore dawn.
