This is a com­pos­ite im­age con­tain­ing both X-ray (red) and ra­dioe­mis­sion (blue) data which was taken by NASA's Chandra X-ray Ob­ser­va­tory and the Na­tional Sci­ence Foun­da­tion's Karl Jan­sky

Very Large Ar­ray (VLA) in New Mex­ico. To­gether they pro­vide vi­tal ev­i­dence that there is a black hole at the cen­tre of a galaxy 9.9 bil­lion light years away which is kick-start­ing star for­ma­tion in at least four neigh­bour­ing gal­ax­ies.
