Professor Didier Queloz Didier Queloz discovered 51 Pegasi b as a PhD student at the University of Geneva, Switzerlan­d. Now he is a professor at the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge. He also won the Wolf Prize in Physics in 2017.

Professor Michel Mayor Michel Mayor is professor emeritus at the University of Geneva's Department of Astronomy. He has been at the University of Geneva and the Observator­y of Geneva since 1971 in several positions. He retired from his position as professor in 2007.
