Hav­ing dom­i­nated the even­ing twi­light for the past few months, Venus is still a bright ‘even­ing star’, vis­i­ble low in the northwest soon af­ter sun­set, but it is way past its best now. By the end of May Venus will be hard to see in the twi­light, and by the end of June’s first week will be lost in the Sun’s glare.
