5 The Coathanger Cluster

Also known as ‘Brocchi’s Cluster’, this is a cluster of around 40 faint stars, the brightest ten of which are arranged roughly in the shape of a coat hanger. It can be seen with the naked eye in a dark sky, but binoculars will highlight the differences in colour between the cluster’s brightest stars.
