A bright dark star

The annihilation processes inside the dark star cause it to shine brightly with a luminosity that’s billions of times brighter than the Sun. It’s possible that these stellar objects could still exist today, albeit as embers that require the help of future telescopes like the James Webb Space Telescope to see them.
