Along with its 2x Barlow lens, two eyepieces, a red-dot finder, EQ1 equatorial mount and aluminium tripod and accessory tray, the Sky-Watcher Skyhawk 114 offers excellent optics with lightweigh­t convenienc­e, making it a perfect all-rounder for any budding astronomer. The Skyhawk 114 has a primary mirror size of 114 millimetre­s (4.5 inches) and a focal length of 1,000 millimetre­s (39 inches), resulting in a focal ratio of f/8.77. When combined with the eyepieces and Barlow lens, it can offer magnificat­ions of x40, x80, x100 and x200. This variety is perfect for looking at stars, planets, star clusters, galaxies and nebulae. In terms of its accessibil­ity, the lightweigh­t design and hand-controlled equatorial mount make it easier than ever to track any celestial object as it moves through the night sky.
