Major American-style live wrestling event arrives in Tullibody this week

THERE will be an afternoon of live wrestling in Tullibody when an American-style event comes to town this weekend.

Touring group World Wide Wrestling League (W3L) will be at Tullibody Civic Centre on Saturday, April 20, with lights, cameras and plenty of action.

On the bill will be internatio­nal talent including Poland’s UEWA European Heavyweigh­t Champion Robert Star, London’s PROGRESS Wrestling star Malik and Canada’s Tim Strange.

W3L World Champion Taylor Bryden will be in action defending his title while there will also be women’s wrestling action featuring Rubi Roberts and stars seen on the WWE Network such as Lou King Sharp.

He said: “If kids enjoy watching pro wrestling on television they will love the experience of seeing live wrestling in their local venue.

“Kids and adult wrestling fans alike will love our event and we are excited to bring W3L Wrestling Showdown to Tullibody.

“We don’t just bring the ring and top wrestlers from around the world, fans will get the full pro wrestling experience with our lights and big screen with our cameras filming the action for the longest running weekly wrestling show on YouTube.”

Doors will open at 2.30pm on the day with the first bell at 3pm.
