Fruit and flowers

Amateur Gardening - - Your Plant Feed Special -

Soft fruit, fruit trees and perennial flowering plants benefit greatly from a spring application of granular or powdered sulphate of potash. Floral bedding and fast growing annual crops such as tomatoes respond very well to regular high-potash liquid feeds through summer. A liquid tomato feed, used weekly or fortnightly, will also give great results in flower containers and borders.

Use either a liquid feed such as Tomorite or controlled-release granules for summer flowers and fruit in pots

Scatter sulphate of potash around fruit bushes and trees in spring

Tomorite isn’t just for tomatoes – use it on summer patio flowers too
