Lightweight nylon reinforced handles with soft-touch grip. Teflon-coated blades. Geared mechanism. Bump-stop buffers on handles. Cutting edge

The shears feel light and well balanced. The broad oval grips suit my big hands well. The soft bump-stop absorbs shocks effectively. Cutting through heavier material like holly requires a bit of effort – there’s no obvious benefit from the gearing mechanism. However, the blades glide through light hedge work and the canted handles (others have canted blades) give a long, flat surface that holds a hedge line well.

A good general-purpose pair of shears, but they are a bit pricey.
