Performance
It’s big, but not as heavy as I’d expected and the strap is very good, transferring the weight nicely to the shoulder. I found it best worn on my left shoulder when operating the blower with my right hand. Start-up is simple. With the battery fitted and fully engaged (it has a ‘carry’ mode where it’s locked in but not engaged) you just gently squeeze the trigger. This produces a fearsome blast of air from the short nozzle. The trigger offers a progressive variable speed making fine control of piles of leaves quite easy, while giving it a firm squeeze produced plenty of power to deal with damp leaves and heavy holly leaves, twigs and even small branches. Switch to the long nozzle for a wider spread of air, and there’s a claw on the end to rake up stubborn wet leaves – though I only used this on very wet leaves as the ‘turbo’ switch shifted just about everything. The battery kept going for ages, so this blower should be fine for larger gardens.
Value
This is a very powerful leaf blower that shifts large amounts of leaf-litter quickly and easily. It has a long run time and quick recharge time, but you pay for the privilege. Other brands do similar highpower battery leaf blowers.
