Features

Powered by 24V rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Run time up to 20 minutes. Charge time 2 hours. Two-speed ‘eco’ and ‘turbo’ settings. Max airflow 65m/s. Weight 4lb (1.8kg). Warranty: two years.

Performance

Rear handle gives front-end-heavy feel that is less well balanced than the tophandled Wolf and Stihl blowers. However, it is light even with the battery fitted. Working out the start-up sequence of buttons on the control panel takes a little while, but is extremely easy once you have mastered the sequence.

Air flow even on ‘eco’ setting is good. It’s great for blowing dry leaves and gives excellent control of the debris as it’s herded into a pile. The ‘turbo’ setting gives more power for shifting damp leaves, or heavier evergreen leaves like holly and for blasting debris out of nooks and crannies. It struggles with very wet leaves, and my hand ached a bit after 10 minutes of working because of the product’s weight bias and overly front-heavy feel.

There’s plenty of staying power for smaller gardens, and recharge is easy and reasonably quick.

Value

A great blower for clearing autumn leaves in small-to-medium-sized gardens, at a very competitive price.
