New Brus­sels Sprout ‘Redar­ling’

F1 is very hardy, a deep-red colour with good flavour, and will be ar­riv­ing on Christ­mas din­ner plates this De­cem­ber.

Flower Sprout ‘Friv­ole Red’

F1 is a late ma­tur­ing kind, and its leaves are colour­ful enough to go into flower borders. 3

Bel­gian grow­ers are af­ter small, neat round sprouts for deep­freez­ing. It’s a ma­jor crop for them.

If, af­ter all of this, you still do not like sprouts, then gar­den cen­tres are sell­ing foil-wrapped choco­late sprouts at £1.99 for

16 (The Great Char­ac­ter Candy Com­pany). They might suit the Bel­gians, but I would pre­fer larger cho­co­lates!
