How to plant an indoor container
1 While the plants are standing in water, add drainage crocks and multi-purpose compost to the pot. 2 Tease out the roots of the central plant and place it in the pot at the same depth as its rootball. 3 Add the remaining plants around the side, loosening the roots and taking care not to damage them. 4 Infill with more compost and firm it down. If there are gaps, the plants will soon grow to fill them. 5 Water the container well and let it drain through properly before bringing the pot inside.
Watch out for pests and deal with them immediately to avoid infestations
