Give them a protective cocoon

1Add a layer of straw for insulation and then firmly insert

3-4 canes around the plant to create a sturdy framework.

2Wrap fleece or bubblewrap around the canes, working your way up the plant until you reach the top.

3Fix the protective layers as you go, tying them securely with twine. Make sure branches are not damaged.

4Finally, wrap the container in fleece or bubblewrap and raise it on feet if you haven’t already done so.
