Performance

The heaviest spade and the weight is noticeable. This is a straighter spade through the short shaft and handle, and both give good grip. Double-width treads offer no obvious advantage. The spit is not as controllable or easy to flip over as it is with other spades. Moist soil sticks to the blade, similar to others on test.
