Sow in a non-heated propagator
1
Fill a seed tray with some fresh, dampened seed compost and level it off before thinly sowing your chillies. 2
Cover seeds with compost and vermiculite, which boosts air and water around developing roots. 3
Dampen with a fine mist of fresh tap water and don’t let it dry out while the seeds are germinating. 4
Add a lid and place seeds somewhere warm to germinate. An airing cupboard is ideal.
