Q What is this plant with its pretty silvery-green foliage? Valerie Lewis, via email

AThis pretty plant looks very much like Sicilian chamomile (Anthemis punctata subsp. cupaniana). It is a perennial growing to about 12in (30cm) tall. The flowers are white daisies with yellow centres. It is hardy in most parts of the UK and thrives in a well-drained soil in a sunny spot.
