MY local Morrisons supermarket put out large boxes of dahlia tubers, callas, lilies, spider lily nerines and gladiolus, all at
50p per pack. All were dry and I suspect spring past stock, while next to them were the autumn bulbs. So should I chance it? I bought two packs of callas, searching for the largest corms with shoots. I will gently spray them and keep them warmish, and see if my
£1 was a well-spent bargain.
