Laying a pathway
Paving stones will save your lawn
1 Place the stones on the grass in easy pacing distance where you want the path to go.
2 Cut around each one with a lawn edger, before moving the stone and lifting grass and soil to 1in (2½cm) deeper than the stone. 3
LIne the hole with a layer of sand to hold the stone firm, then tamp it down flat. 4
Brush extra sand over the stone and down the sides, adding a little removed turf to bed it in.
