Care of a rambling rose

1 The jasmine is growing among a rambling rose, which I am leaving alone until it has finished its single flourish of flowers in early summer.

2 After flowering, I will remove a few older stems, cut the flowered shoots back by a third and tie them in, before feeding and mulching.
