MANY gardens suffer from light pollution and need planting or structures to shut out some of the worst artificial light. Try creating a bosky bower by installing an arbour, or grow one from woven willow wands. Leave a daytime parasol up or plant trees and shrubs to block the effect of street and other direct lights. Dainty outdoor fairy lights will help distract from competing light sources.
