Garden lighting

-

FOR the benefit of nocturnal wildlife (owls, rodents, bats and moths) going about their business and daytime ones trying to sleep, I try to keep lighting to a minimum and rely on candles.

We had, briefly, some soft solar lights, but I was worried that if there were any glow worms (a type of beetle) in our semi-rural garden, the winged males would be drawn to them rather than the glowing, wingless females keen to lay eggs.
