‘Louise Odier’

This old Bourbon rose has buxom lilac-pink flowers with a beautiful scent. Grow as a large shrub rose or a short climber in rich, welldraine­d soil in full sun. Repeat flowers into the autumn. H: 5ft (1.5m).

‘Norwich Castle’

A floribunda rose with dark-green foliage and scented copper-orange flowers that glow beautifull­y in the light of sunset. Grow in a sunny, well-drained, westfacing border or in a container. H: 3ft (90cm).

Our Beth (‘Beacarol’)

A modern shrub rose with old-world charm, bred by Peter Beales. The richly scented pale-pink blooms are reminiscen­t of a Damask rose. Repeat-flowering and disease resistant. H: 4ft (1.2m).

Alec’s Red (‘Cored’)

This hybrid tea rose produces almost black buds that open into cherry-red flowers with strong necks and a sweet scent. Grow in fertile, well-drained soil in a sunny border or a container. H: 3ft (90cm).
