Getting creative for charity
OVER the past few months during lockdown, my brother-in-law and I have been making flower planters with recycled wood.
We have sold some of these and the proceeds exceed £375, donated equally between local charities including Newcastle RVI, The British Heart Foundation and North of England’s Children’s Cancer Research.
My wife, who has COPD, has also been busy knitting hearts, cardigans, jumpers for the local hospital. Colin Nevin Ashington, Northumberland
