The pic­ture that you re­fer to is a World Press Photo of the Year nom­i­nee and taken by a Reuters staff pho­tog­ra­pher; it’s his job to doc­u­ment daily news and events, some of which can be nasty. Cit­i­zen jour­nal­ism is one thing, but there’s a big dif­fer­ence be­tween the work of a pro pho­to­jour­nal­ist and some ghoul with a smart­phone tak­ing footage of an ac­ci­dent to share it with friends – Ge­off Harris, deputy ed­i­tor
