If you can’t beat ’em, ghost ’em

Even if you get up early it can be hard to avoid crowds, and some­times peo­ple give more at­mos­phere to your shots. Set­ting a slower shut­ter speed, e.g. be­low 1/15sec, en­ables you to cre­ate mo­tion blur or ‘ghost’ crowds, which can be a pleas­ing ef­fect. A Lee Fil­ters Big Stop­per can be used to blur peo­ple out.
