Action camera for skiing holiday

Q I’ll be going skiing next month and would love to have something to record myself and my buddies going head over heels multiple times. I’ll be taking my DSLR kit for the scenery, but would love an action camera to capture all the action. I’ve looked at the GoPro range but am not sure about what I need as there are so many models. I would like to edit my video, but I don’t get to do this sort of thing very often so would like it to be high- quality footage. But, I’m not a pro videographer, so if I can save some money that would be fantastic. I’m looking at a budget of £400? What could you recommend? Howard Groundsell
