Photo series looks into fascinating lives of identical twins
THIS portrait of twin sisters, Kira and Taya, is part of a wider series of images focusing on the relationships and identities of identical twins. Captured over four years by awardwinning photographer Peter Zelewski, his images form a new book recently published by Hoxton Mini Press (£16.95).
Peter interviewed and photographed 12 pairs of twins, all living in London, in order to delve further into their relationships. Despite capturing them in the same outfits, similar poses and expressions, Peter has managed to capture the subtle differences, and shares their personal accounts of what it’s like being seen as one half of a pair. These powerful portraits tap into one of the most fascinating of all human relationships.
