Full marks to the AP team members responsible for the excellent article

Rising Stars 2018 (AP 15 December), which is about six upcoming and new talents. There were two clear messages to emerge for me. One was that entry into photography for anyone can take all routes with no set pattern. The other is that once skills develop to a high standard there is great merit in creating a clear ‘difference’ and always projecting that difference strongly. Establishing a personal style and knowing how to pursue it certainly helps a photographer stand out from what is now a very crowded digital photographic world. Seeing where the chosen six are in a few years’ time will be another story of interest. Stewart Machin
