BOURBON BROCCOLI

• ½ cup brown sugar

• ¼ cup Bourbon

• ¼ teaspoon ground ginger

• ⅛ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper

• ¼ teaspoon ground garlic

Mix all of the ingredient­s and set aside. In a frying pan place 1-2 pounds of broccolini with 1 tbsp olive oil and allow it to steam until color changes on a low heat. Remove the pan from the heat and pour the Bourbon mixture over the top of the broccolini and toss in the pan until it is lightly coated with the mixture. Return to low heat and cover with foil or lid and allow the vegetable to continue cooking until desired consistenc­y. Sprinkle with sesame seeds when you serve.
