Nose: Seductive blend of cassis and caramel. Blackberries and dark chocolate. Baked apples with cinnamon and a touch of coffee aroma.

Palate: Blackberry jam on toast. Huge wood notes that reveal toasted marshmallow and cherry. Back end flavor of ginger and oregano.

Finish: Tannins for days and just a nice zingy spice on the palate that meanders for some time.

Comments: First sip will get your attention with a classy and persistent finish.

Proof: 100 ABV: 50% Style: Bourbon State: KY Price: $$$

Nose: Well-balanced notes of caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg and a dash of dill, along with some bright fruit. Vanilla starts to emerge.

Palate: Strong fruit is present on the palate instantly, as caramel, baking spices and pepper vie for attention. Fruit becomes chocolate.

Finish: That sweet fruit lingers, as does some peppery warmth.

Comments: This is one of the those finished Bourbons that may entice wine drinkers to try a whiskey, especially if used in a cocktail. 8.2
