Nose: Toffee and caramel abound with a toasted and bready nose. Some roasted coffee and maple syrup. Banana, red apple, faint ginger and spiced walnut.

Palate: Ample overlay of oak and marshmallow. Some fudgy sweetness and toffee. Fruit changes to orange marmalade and baked fruit compote.

Finish: Balanced finish with heightened nutmeg and oak.

Comments: Enjoyable and friendly with a crisp texture; an eloquent sip.

Nose: Apples, peaches and pears on the nose with spun sugar and baking spice. Very much like fruity chewing gum.

Palate: So different from the nose! Caramel predominates with nuts and buttered cornbread. Oakiness plays around the edges of the tongue.

Finish: Initial caramel sweetness fades to sweet oak and white pepper.

Comments: Definitely a fruit and grain-forward whiskey without a lot of spice. So if you really favor sweet Bourbon, you’ll be very happy.
