Copper Fox American Single Malt

COPPER FOX DISTILLERY

-

Peggy

Nose: Soft ginger and honey with bread. Simple cane syrup with golden raisin and light brown sugar. Butterscotch and shortbread with pear.

Palate: A delicate smoky flavor that wraps the tongue and arouses the spice. Crushed almonds and sugar cookie with golden raisin appearing.

Finish: Lovely finish that is approachable and dry. Some soft sweet gingerbread too.

Comments: Only a wee splash of water for this nice whiskey.

Nose: Mildly smoky with malt, sweet oak, very subtle fruit like berry juice. Could easily be taken for a lightbodied Scotch.

Palate: Light, savory smoked kippers, but in a good way. There’s vanilla, cinnamon and some more berries.

Finish: Smoke and berries dry and change into iodine and light oak. Again, Scotch-like.

Comments: Is this a sip to entice Scotch drinkers to American whiskey? Or perhaps to ease American Bourbon drinkers into Scotch? 8.0
