Serve up cocktails

Anglers Mail - - Mk18 D25 -

I often use cocktails of baits. Worm and maggot is a deadly bait for bream, whereas worm and bread is great for carp and tench, with the movement of the bread enticing the fish to take the bait, and the lobworms, being a bit bigger, tend to discourage the small fish.

Worms have got to be the most natural bait that fish find, so they normally take them confidently. They catch every fish species that swims, and of course worms and perch is a marriage made in heaven.
