DThe first peg through the bridge is very good for small sil­ver fish. In spring and early sum­mer it is alive with stacks of gud­geon and roach. Ex­pect big roach in the win­ter.

Try squatts and pinkies over ground­bait on a 3 m whip for the gud­geon. Caster down the track is a good tac­tic for the big roach. Try a pole with squatts and pinkies over ground­bait at 12 m for lots of smaller redfins.
