The Float Lake is 18 pegs and stocked with tench to over 6 lb, cru­cian carp over 2 lb and some big perch. TAC­TICS: the carp are caught mainly on boilies, but don’t ne­glect lun­cheon meat and corn. Sin­gle baits fished with PVA bags can be pro­duc­tive, es­pe­cially if you want to avoid at­tract­ing the at­ten­tion of the bream. Sur­face baits are also worth a try in hot weather.
