What’s being caught? New carp are hitting the 30 lb mark on the Big Fish Lake. Morgan Allum banked a 30 lb 4 oz common on a recent visit. Bitea-chuck action on the coarse lakes with carp in the 2-7 lb range, skimmers and roach. Youngster Bray Dennison had 20-plus carp on the Match Lake. Tactics? Legered boilies for the specimen carp. Pole or float fished pellets, meat or corn in the margins, or floating bread, best on the coarse lakes.
