What’s being caught? Some good bags of bream reported, one angler catching 50 lb-plus in an early morning session. Plenty of small roach, perch, skimmers, chublets, dace and bleak feeding as well.
Tactics? Groundbait feeder with chopped worm and casters three-quarters across for the bream and skimmers. Stick float, Bolo’, pole or whip with maggots for plenty of bites from small fish.

What’s being caught? Roach, perch, bream, chub and occasional barbel. Recent match won with a double-figure bag of roach and perch on a clear river. A few bream hooked, but a bit of colour needed to improve the best bream sport. Tactics? Pole, whip, big stick or Bolo’ float for mixed bags. Open-end feeder with groundbait and plenty of chopped worm and casters for the bream.
