Angler’s Mail.

Anglers Mail - - Anglers -

when I arrive to fish the lake. Fingers crossed, of course, that there aren’t anglers in each of those baited swims!

I’ve been baiting with a mixture of 10 and 15 mm Cell and Iso Fruit boilies, as I feel they are a great combination, and the different sizes keeps the fish grubbing around a lot more than if I were to feed just one size.

I like to select one bigger area and feed it a bit more heavily than the others. If there are no anglers present when I arrive, this area would be the one that I would pick first, unless I saw signs of fish over the other two. I feed the main spot with 80-90 baits and the other two spots with 40-50.

I arrived to fish the lake just after midday, and even though there were no vehicles in the car park, I walked around the lake to see if there was anybody fishing.

There wasn’t, so I watched all

This 36 lb mirror carp came quickly after Billy cast to a pre-baited spot by some snags.
