This Northamptonshire complex is somewhere where I used to fish a lot with my dad when I was a kid. We would go camping in the caravan and the whole family would fish for days. As I got older, I remember having a brace of 30s out of the Lilly Lake – and what a lake it was. It’s called Lilly for a very good reason! There’s fishing and fun on this site for everyone, and it’s a place that I will be taking my kids to in years to come.

The Lavers, near Ongar, in Essex. town, in New York state, is full of water… and the water is full of carp. The Americans are always so polite, and make you so welcome when you go there, and it’s somewhere where I have always enjoyed fishing.
The main carp venue here, the Seneca, is a river, so it makes for very challenging fishing.
