Tactics? Simple float or feeder tactics with maggot in these two lakes will produce plenty of bites.

Tactics? Bream are the dominant species, so groundbait, Method or flatbed feeder is best, at distance with maggots, corn or small bright boilies.

What’s being caught? Main Lake has lots of carp averaging 7 lb but up to 20 lb, with bream, chub, roach, perch, tench and barbel, the match record is
219 lb. Specimen Lake for some stunning common carp to
30 lb, mirrors to 25 lb and catfish to almost 50 lb.
Tactics? No nuts or boilies, so it’s pellet and particles here, and don’t ignore the margins, as a light float approach and prawns or a piece of meat could bring big rewards. What’s being caught? Four lakes, all slightly different, offering a range of species. Match weights over 50 lb needed in winter to win on Wood and Pans Lakes, and there are carp to over 20 lb in the Specimen Lake.
Tactics? Most baits and methods work here, but fish to the islands for the carp, and use quality boilies on the Specimen Lake for the bigger carp.

Home of over 100 carp, with 30 30s, ten over 35 lb, including two 40s, one of which recently came out to Gavin Taylor at 42 lb.
Tactics? Quality hair-rigged boilies such as Cell, Manilla and Citruz all working, but be stealthy, set your traps and be prepared to be patient.
